Neurorehabilitation

Balance Master

The post graduate qualifications endorsed in Neurorehabilitation Physiotherapy offer Physiotherapists working in neurorehabilitation the opportunity to enhance their understanding of clinical and academic issues within the broad neurorehabilitation arena.

The focus is on investigating and analysing contemporary developments in neurorehabilitation practice and research. The programmes aim to provide students with:

  • A critical understanding of physiotherapy approaches in neurorehabilitation
  • An ability to evaluate complex clinical problems and to assess the outcome of interventions
  • An ability to critically review pertinent literature

In addition, students enrolled in the Master of Physiotherapy (neurorehabilitation) programme must also undertake a research project of clinical interest and relevance
