Clinics introduction

The School of Physiotherapy offers its clinical expertise to the public via its clinics. The school's clinics are staffed by some of the country's leading physiotherapists and supported by the knowledge and skills of its academic staff. Clinical staff have diverse skills evidenced by postgraduate qualifications including Manipulative Therapy, McKenzie Method, Sports Medicine and Occupational Health.

In addition to Physiotherapy Clinics the school offers specialised clinics where physiotherapists, doctors and sports science experts work together. This includes Sports Medicine, Muscle Performance, Balance, Gait and McKenzie.

All staff supervise students as well as carry their own caseload so clients can choose their physiotherapy provider. All the School's clinics are accredited by the New Zealand Physiotherapy Accreditation Scheme thus ensuring high standards of practise.
